Theology

The term “theology” means the study of God and is deriving from the Greek word theos, meaning ‘God’, and the suffix -ology from the Greek word logos meaning “discourse”, “theory”, or “reasoning”. The Latin equivalent, theologia, was defined as the “reasoning or discussion concerning the Deity”, while “theology” in English was defined as “the science of things divine”. A general definition is that theology is the study of religious faith, practice, and experience, or of spirituality.
